Artists // Angel City feat. Lara Mc Allen
Lara is looking forward to a bright future in music and is definitely off to a fantastic start. Since being taken under the wing of the head of Active Music Management, Mark Winters, Lara's career has gone from strength to strength. Lara is no stranger to per- forming; her dance and drama training have given her a good grounding for the hard work ahead of her.
Lara gained an insight into the music industry working as a backing vocalist/dancer for Shakira on her UK promotional tour, performing on shows such as Top of The Pops and CD:UK. Lara also backed the Latino pop star at Party in The Park before finding that she was in demand as an artist in her own right.
Lara was soon to work alongside hit songwriter/producers Bruce Elliot-Smith and Phil Larson and later with 'master of the mix' Pete Hammond. Before she new it, Lara was a featured vocalist for Ministry of Sound as she was asked to re-vocal Love Me Right (Data). Her diary got busier as a video had to be made and a promotional tour got on its way.
Lara is also busy recording her own solo material and is very excited about how the tracks are sounding. So it looks like we'll be seeing and hearing a lot more from her!
